Bath Photographic Society

Bath Photographic Society, founded in 1888, is believed to be one of the oldest societies of its kind in the UK. Based in the photogenic City of Bath, it is an informal and friendly Photographic club with a membership currently standing at around 45. Despite the age of the club, we are not stuck in the past! members embrace new technology and there is a very active Digital group which will help you learn digital photography.

Our programme is designed to have broad appeal. Throughout the year we welcome a number of well-known speakers who present and describe their work. Competitions are another regular feature of our photographic group. There are categories for slide and print workers and both colour and black & white specialists are catered for. Other evenings are devoted to help you learn digital photography, studio sessions, presentations of members work,  and joint meetings with other photographic clubs in the neighbourhood. Once a year we hold an exhibition of members' work.

The Society also has a collection of equipment available for loan to members.
