Icelandic police use pepper spray on photographers

The British Journal of Photography is reporting how Kristján Logason, a press photographer working in Iceland to cover the current crisis and civil unrest, has revealed that he was the target of police using pepper spray.

He commented "the Icelandic Police systematically tried to remove photographers from the spot by spraying them with pepper spray".

The photographers were simply reporting on a protest attended by manyin front of the Althing parliament building in Reykjavik. Seven other photographers have made it known that they were also victims of the police's use of pepper spray during the event.
